All work is dishwasher, microwave, and food safe unless otherwise noted in the listing. Even though your piece is totally dishwasher safe, hand washing is highly recommended to keep it safe from harsh detergents, high heat, and any jostling that can occur inside the dishwasher. (Personally, I hand wash my handmade pieces 90% of the time and chuck them in the diswasher the other 10% when I’m in a rush... there is no hard rule for this, just suggestions!)

In an effort to reduce waste, your package may contain reused packing materials. The packing peanuts I use are biodegradable starch that can be melted in the sink and rinsed down the drain or composted. Each package is marked with several “fragile” stickers.

International orders are packed even more thoroughly, which may add to the overall shipping cost slightly.

All sales are final, but I really want you to be happy with your purchase. I strive to list everything as accurately as possible, but handmade items are unique and should be viewed that way. If you are unhappy please contact me so we can discuss options.

Due to the fragile nature of pottery, there is always a risk of damages during shipping. If an item arrives damaged please send a photo of the broken pieces within 48 hours and we will work to find a solution. Andra Throws is not responsible for damages to items while in your possession.

Each piece is thrown, refined, glazed, and shipped by one person. I am not a machine and the work will reflect that fact. Small variations and signs of being handmade are to be expected when you purchased a one-of-a-kind object. These unique differences will distinguish your piece from one that you have purchased from a store. I hope you appreciate this about handmade items as much as I do.
