  • make 1-2 pieces of your choosing! I will be there to help guide you through the process so you have a successful result

  • we will be focusing on how to make pinch pots + small slab built forms but I am happy to help with other methods if you have something else in mind! (in the sample photos - the pinch pots are the white cups and slab built are the small ring dishes)

  • my process mostly focuses on functional pottery (mugs, cups, bowls, plates, planters, jewelry dishes, etc.) but you are welcome to explore sculptural work in this workshop

  • your pieces will need to be fired + glazed so they won’t be able to be taken home that night. they will be ready for pickup at Camp Opal by October 5th - I will email when they are finished!

  • underglaze will be provided if you want to paint any details or designs on the raw clay before it is fired (or the option is to choose from one of my solid colors and I will glaze it for you)

  • the pieces will be food safe + microwave/dishwasher safe

  • all materials + tools will be provided

  • class size is limited to 10 people

  • Camp Opal is located in Pacific Place (600 Pine St.) in downtown Seattle - instagram: @camp.opal.shop, web: camp-opal.com
