A mug or planter with 8 different color swatches added to the exterior and handwritten color names added to the bottom of each color.
This listing is for the FULLY CUSTOM option. To choose a preset palette + color names, see the other listing.
FULLY CUSTOM means you pick all of the colors you want (from my color grid - see the “swatches” page on this website) and you choose the color names. This can include things like pet names, wedding dates, a movie reference, or anything you’d like. 1-3 words per color name is best!
This is a PREORDER ITEM - it won’t be to you for 8-10 weeks.
You MUST choose at least #1, 2, 3, and 4 when adding this item to your cart (a pop-up will come up). You can email me later details about color palette and names (5 and 6). If I haven’t heard from you I will make every attempt to contact you for the colors and names with the provided contact info! If I have not heard from you within 6 weeks I will send you a default color palette with my own color names.

#1 - CLAY - solid or speckled
#2 - ITEM - mug or planter
#3 - SWATCH SHAPE - square, round, or dots
#4 - CONTACT - leave me your email or instagram name so I can confirm you color choices and names with you before I glaze your order

#5 - COLOR PALETTE - see the page titled “swatches” in the navigation on this website to see all of the color options. Each mug/planter has 8 colors. I will follow up with you with a mockup of the colors you have chosen before I add them to your pot.
#6- SWATCH NAMES - choose your color names! You can choose all 8 or customize just a few and leave the rest to me. This is the most customizable aspect of Swatches — have fun with it! Use the name of your cat (or the name of mine? no? ok fine), your favorite song title, the street you grew up on, your favorite fictional vampire, an inside joke, the date of your wedding… anything! Please keep in mind that 3 words (4 if they’re short) is about all I can fit under each color.
OTHER:
#7 - DRIP TRAY - your planter will NOT come with holes in the bottom or a drip tray unless you specify you want them (add to the pop-up form)

I know I’ve said it, but this is a PREORDER item!! My hope is to get them to you asap, but I am only one person and sometimes things break or glaze gets ruined and I have to start over. Plan for 8-10 weeks for the item(s) to arrive.
all items are dishwasher and microwave safe but handwashing is recommended to keep your pieces safe from being banged around in the dishwasher
approximate size: 3.5-4” tall and wide for both mug and planter (this can vary)
if you order a preorder and an in-stock item, they will ship together once your preorder item is ready. If you need the in-stock item right away please make separate purchases or contact me.
